So this is probably going to seem like the most mundane of things to write about, but I was completely fascinated by it.  In fact, I was so fascinated that I ended up taking a zillion pictures from the car window of the stuff.  It’s like some sort of horrific parasite from a sci-fi novel that’s eating up the countryside.

We will be out of the office next week because we’re hightailing it down to Hotlanta for a fun week of going to places and taking pictures of things…oh, and eating awesome food.  Keep an eye out for some wacky posts, crazy pictures*, and altogether fun retelling of things!

*I’m extremely excited to get my picture taken with my dog, Miso, and the giant moose in Mooresville, NC.  Miso’s nickname is “Moose” so getting a picture of her and her breathren/namesake will be a treasured photo :D

Hong Kong is, hands down, one of my favorite cities to tool around in.  The place is almost too expensive for words when it comes to the normal stores, but if you know where to skulk around, you can get some awesome deals on some very cool things.  But getting around the fact that I love shopping, HK is just an awesome city full of awesome food and things to see.

I’ve been talking about this for years (ask Laura, she’ll vouch that I’ve been saying this since college!):  I want to modify a tabletop gaming engine for play based on action figures.  I have about a hundred action figures, from gashapon to static figures, etc. (if you haven’t seen the pictures, check out my office pics on Facebook), and I think it’d be cool to create a gaming system based solely on the coolness or lack thereof of certain action figures.
